Bower birds are the artists of the natural world - they create these elaborate spaces intended to attract a mate. Different species of bower birds create different types of bowers. Some choose all blue objects, some all green to line the entryway to their bowers - it is fascinating! - Some make architectural structures - elegant and gorgeous.
So i began making these works that have bright shiny elements, very ornate not with Bower birds in mind - but the bower - the attraction factor - the small parts together to create the whole - it was in thre and I guess this is how it cam eout.
